John Thomas Culbertson, Age 86 passed away August 14, 2017Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Shirley Williams Culbertson, son, John Thomas Culbertson II, daughter, Georgette (Mike) Smiley; Grandchildren, Ashley Smiley, Michael (Brittany) Smiley, Nikki (Brandon) Petty, and Tre Culbertson. Great-grandchildren, Mila, Maddox and Maverick.Preceded in death by his daughter, Jacqueline BryantBorn and raised in Nashville Tennessee, the son of James and Dannie Culbertson.A graduate of Antioch High SchoolJohn Served in both the US Air Force and the US Army.He retired from Lithographic Printing, and was a long time member of Donelson View Baptist Church.Mr. Culbertson had a passion for trains, he was an avid collector as well as being a member of several train societies.A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 20,2017 at Donelson View Baptist Church, 2049 Lebanon Pike, Nashville Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until the service begins
