Jessie Fahey

Jessie Fahey, age 79, died on Monday, April 21, 2014, in Aurora, Colorado, having been an Alzheimer victim for 18 years. Jessie was born on November 9, 1934, in Rockford, Illinois, to William Nelson and Jean "Skippy" Chapman Nelson.

She was married to Stephen "Jerry" Cole from 1955 until his untimely death in 1968. They had four children, Steve, Vicki, Dawn, and Cheri.
Jessie remarried in 1971 to Lawrence Fahey. They had one child, Andrew Fahey. Jessie traveled the world with Larry and enjoyed a full life before the onset of her illness. Her last endeavor of interest was to volunteer at the Pharmacy at the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station in Texas.

Jessie was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Dar, and her grandchildren, Andrea Knoebber and Jerry Yarbrough.

Jessie is survived by her brother, William Nelson Anne Nelson, her children, Steve Cole, Vicki Knoebber Craig Knoebber, Dawn Knoebber Jeff Knoebber, Cheri Yarbrough Calvin Yarbrough, and Andrew Fahey Rebecca Fahey, and her grandchildren, Shannon Cole, Steve Knoebber, Zachary Knoebber and Liam Fahey.

The memorial service will be on Friday, May 2, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. through the Cremation Society of Colorado at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel at 1091 S. Colorado Blvd., Denver, Colorado 80246.
