Jerrilynn Fallon

Mrs. Jerrilynn "Jerri" Dianne Fallon (Parrish), of South Gate, CA, moved on to a better place on Friday, August 26, 2016 at the age of 68.

Jerrilynn was born on May 2, 1948 in Southgate, CA to Marie and Jack Parrish. Her given name was Jerrilynn Dianne Parrish, but for at least a while she known by "Little Hollywood" both for her zest for life and for her love of sunglasses. She spent her early years exploring the dessert she would come to love and always remember. She married David Clifton Fallon , her high school sweetheart in 1965. Together they had three children, Dianne Marie, Sherri Lynn, and David Michael.

Jerri took a great deal of pride in supporting herself and her children and worked hard her entire adult life. She eventually came to work overnight for the US Postal Service, and like she did everything in life she did it with pride. Jerri's grandchildren came to treasure days spent lounging by the pool, and of course watching movies and snacking on grapes and quesadillas with Grandma. Jerri was passionate about her family and could not be more proud of her three children or their ever-growing families. Her children remember her as a kind, yet feisty mother, who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Jerri had a kind word for most and a cutting wit for the rest. She was often the life of the party, but you would never know it from looking at pictures. Jerri was fond of making beautiful memories with her family and friends and loved taking pictures to savor these cherished moments. Jerry was both creative and carefree and was as happy crafting homemade gifts as she was riding on her Harley . Always up for adventure, Jerry was a fun loving person who was known for taking spontaneous and unannounced road trips or spending an unplanned weekend in Vegas. Jerri was fiercely independent but loved spending time with friends and family in social settings.

Jerrilynn is survived by her mother, Marie M. Sykes; Brother; Jack F Parrish; Daughters, Dianne Marie (Joe) McDonald and Sherri Lynn (Joel) Havens; her twelve grandchildren Elizabeth Leigh Sumner (Sage), Jacqui Mae McDonald, Ashley Nichole McDonald, Fallon Marie Price (Raymond),Alan Joseph Price (Natalie), Christopher Scott Havens, Chelsea Renee McDonald Barbra Jean Davis, Michael Taylor Price, Dillon Joel Havens (Marina), Michelle Lynn Price (Keith), Killian Lee Fallon and Jonathan David Fallon. Thirteen great-grandchildren Ryan (13), Marcus, ,Landon (9), Riley 8, Frankie (8 ), Antonio (6), Ally(5), Liam (5), Heath (5), DelRey (4), Haley (3), Monae(2), Elijah and numerous nieces and nephews. Jerri is preceded in death by father Jack Floyd Parrish; her sister, Jackalynn Marie Parrish; son David Michael Fallon; her first husband David Clifton Fallon; and granddaughter Brook Marie Davis.

Cremation was chosen and a celebration of life will take place in Alamosa Colorado. Friends and family are welcome to attend and celebrate Jerri's life at Dianne's house, Saturday September 10th at 2 pm.
