Jerome "Jerry" Griego

Jerome “Jerry” Anthony Griego, Age 53 a lifelong resident of Santa Fe passed away on June 9, 2016 peacefully at home with his loving family by his side. Jerry was born on June 22, 1962 to Maclovio and Cecilia Griego. Jerry had a distinguished and enjoyable career as a Computer Database Administrator with the State of New Mexico, St. John's Liberal Arts College, Santa Fe and Alliant International University, San Diego. Jerry attended St. Anne's Catholic School and was an altar server at St. Anne's Church. Jerry graduated from Santa Fe High School in May of 1980. Jerry earned a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Psychology form the US International University. Jerry loved hunting, camping and the great outdoors. He was an avid tennis and handball player and competed in many tournaments. Jerry was a real joker who loved making people laugh and feel special. He always put others before himself. His generosity was endless. Jerry was so unique and special. He made us laugh, and cry and always amazed us with his presence. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maclovio and Cecilia Griego; Brother Maclovio "Larry" Griego Jr. and his wife Dolores; and late wife Sherry Griego. He is survived by his loving wife Jennifer Griego; Sisters Anna and Paula (Chris); Brothers Louie, Andres (Trish), Paul, and Abe; Nephews Daniel, Andrew and Luke; Niece Angela; plus numerous other loving relatives and friends. Rosary will be recited on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at 7:30 PM at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Memorial mass will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Anne's Catholic Church.
