Jean Solano

Jean Louise Solano, age 45, a resident of Santa Fe, passed away with her loving family by her side on Saturday, November 4, 2017. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Nelson Solano and grandparents Salomon and Guadalupita Solano. Jean was a long time employee of Century Bank. She was a soul sister to many of her friends and bright light in everyone’s lives. She fought a courageous battle and was a warrior till the end. She was a loving mother to three boys; Alex Ytuarte, Joseph and Elijah Garcia all of Santa Fe; parents, Amadeo Solano and Mary Lou Nelson of Santa Fe; sisters, Christine Wilson and husband Todd of Wichita, KS., and Salome Solano of New York City, NY.; step-daughters, Kelly Garcia and Kayla Garcia both of Santa Fe; also surviving is numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Recitation of the Rosary will be on Thursday, November 9th 2017 at 10:15a.m. at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Santa Fe, with Memorial Mass to follow at 11:00a.m. A Memorial as well as a reception will follow Mass at the Parish Hall.
