Jean Hornbuckle passed away peacefully in the loving care of her daughter, Laurel Dakini. Mom was a talented seamstress, designer, humanitarian and dreamer. Her compassion for others was as abundant as the creative projects that filled her heart and home. Jean was preceded in death by her parents James and Ellen Drayton, 6 siblings, husband Robert Hornbuckle and son Bobby Hornbuckle. She is survived by brothers Ike Drayton, Al Carol Drayton, John Evelyn Drayton; children Richard Judy Sciumbato, Floyd Hornbuckle, Steven Hornbuckle, Laurel Dakini, Suzanne Miller Bill Sucke, Ted Hornbuckle and Tom Hornbuckle, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great great grandchild. In honor of Jean Hornbuckle: "Be the kind of people whom others praise as having made a difference, for instance, whose presence helps them move in a positive direction." Daisaku Ikeda.
