Jean Marion Fogg died peacefully March 28, 2019 at The Denver Hospice. She was born March 7, 1941 in Casper, Wyoming and moved to Denver after graduating Natrona County High School. She pursued an interest in sales and had a long and successful career as a Denver realtor. Many of her clients became friends and continued to seek her advice years after she had retired.
Jean enjoyed living in the Denver community and volunteered for many organizations including Special Olympics. She loved animals and supported the mission of The Denver Dumb Friends League. Jean always rooted for the underdog and had tremendous compassion and understanding for those who struggled or felt alone.
She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and wit which was present until her final days. She enjoyed parties with her family and friends and could make any event a celebration. Jean was a loving mother and grandmother. She was adored by her grandsons Michael and Christopher. They will always remember magical adventures shared with her on The High Line Canal and in 'the Back of Beyond'.
Jean courageously beat cancer twice; once as a young woman and again in her 60s when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Jean is survived by her son James (Jim) Taylor Fogg of Denver, her daughter Cynthia Fogg Chase of Kenilworth, IL, her grandsons Michael Taylor Chase, US Navy, Virginia Beach, VA and Christopher Henry Chase, also of Kenilworth as well as her twin sister Joyce Burback of Kansas City, KS, brother Bill Lattimer of Casper, WY and sister Audrey Berry of Eugene, OR. She was preceded in death by her mother Frances Marion Lattimer, father Donivan Laverne Lattimer and beloved grandmother Estella Violetta Lattimer.
A memorial celebration is to be planned later this spring. In lieu of flowers please consider a gift to The Denver Hospice in memory of Jean Marion Fogg:
