Jean Blom

Jean R. Harrington Blom, 87, of Aurora died peacefully at her home while receiving assistance from Berkely Palative Care and Hospice on November 5th, 2022.  She was married to her husband, Al for 49 years until his passing in 2004.  Both Jean and Al loved travel and managed to see all the continents except Antarctica.  Jean was an art teacher in Denver Public Schools for 25 years and an artist who specialized in animal portraits.  She was passionate about animals and worked as a docent for the Denver Zoo and as a dog trainer for the Denver Dumb Friends League.  She sang in various choirs and was a faithful member of Faith Presbyterian Church.  She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Ann and her beloved sheltie, Lucky.
