James Harvill Brown,73, passed away at his home on February 3, 2023. He was born on October 27, 1949 in Murfreesboro, TN. He preferred to be called Jim. Jim grew up in Hendersonville, TN.
Jim is preceded in death by his father Clifton Brown, mother Margaret Ethridge, Aunt Becky Harvill, and brother Eddie Jackson.
He is survived by his daughter Michelle, and son Jason (Heather). His granddaughters Melissa, Kenzie, Makayla, and Ryleigh. His grandsons Marcus, and Christopher. Jim has three great grandchildren, Markez, Evelyn, Keilin, and another on the way. His brothers Shayne, Art, and Clifton. He also has a special niece, Kara Dawn. As well as special close family DeMontè and Maygen. Additional loved ones are Ms. Futina, Nevaeh, Bella, Aamoria, and Jr., as well as Coco. Close friends Lisa and Nancy.
Jim was a man who loved life and family. He was a phenomenal man and father that seen good in everyone. Jim enjoyed painting, dancing, music, and cooking. He had many people that loved him. Jim was a family man, he thrived on loving his family. He was happy and full of life. Jim was funny and sarcastic. He was creative and loved to eat "good food".
There will be a celebration of his life on February 18th from 2p-5p at the American Legion in Gallatin. 1140 S Water Ave, Gallatin, TN 37066.
