James Ignatious Allons, Jr.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of James (Jim) I. Allons Jr, who left us July 9, 2024, at the age of 85. 

Jim was a four-year baseball and football letterman at Regis High School. He married his sweetheart, Carol McGaw on September 3, 1960. They raised four children in Denver. Jim was a printer by trade but spent his free-time model railroading, custom painting and photographing trains. 

Jim was preceded by his loving wife, Carol Ann Allons and grandson, Mike Mulligan, and survived by their four children, Sherry Mulligan (Tony), Tim Allons (Terry), Karen Allons (Steve Shaw) and Judy Reinhardt (George); sister Jackie Crihfield; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren 

Jim’s priority was to ensure his family was taken care of. He cherished spending time with family and friends. Jim was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be remembered for his compassion for others, sense of humor, and devotion to his Catholic faith. 

Services will be held Tuesday July 30, 2024, at Light of the World Catholic Church, 10306 W. Bowles Ave, Littleton, CO 80127. Rosary at 10:30 a.m., Mass at 11:00 a.m. and lunch at noon.
