Ie Burgess

Dick was born in Fresno, California on May 5, 1947 and went to be with Jesus on July 7, 2017 in his home in Littleton, Colorado. He was a simple man with a heart of gold. He resided in Fresno, California most of his life with his wife Becky of 49 years. He worked many different jobs throughout his life but loved working on cars, raising birds, and riding horses. He moved to Colorado in 2000 to be closer to his daughter and his most prized processions his granddaughters, Lillie and Mary. Most of his life he struggled with the health of his heart but he never let that slow him down. In the end, he was just simply tired. He was a loving husband, brother, dad, and grandpa. He will be forever in our hearts and missed dearly.

He is survived by his beloved wife Becky; daughter, Lori and husband Ryan Williams; granddaughters, Lillie and Mary; sister, Lorna Arosteguy; stepmother, LeVerne Burgess; stepbrother, Ron Robinson; stepsister, Jennie Robinson; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by mother, Darlene Burgess; nephew, Jayson Arosteguy; brother-in-law, George Arosteguy; step-sister, Zeebe Robinson; and father, Louis Burgess.

A Celebration of Dick's life will be held on Saturday July 22, 2017 at the SouthPark Clubhouse 2801 W. Long Drive Littleton, Colorado 80120 at 1:30.
