Helen Montoya

Helen E. (Encinias) Montoya was born on April 29, 1936 in Tucumcari New Mexico to the late Jose and Susie Encinias. Helen passed away on February 5, 2019. In Castle Rock, Colorado. Helen worked at many of the restaurants and packaged liquor stores in Tucumcari, as well as being a foster grandparent for the public schools. Helen married Joe Ezekiel Montoya on October 04, 1952 in Tucumcari. They have three children. Joe (Lori), Brenda and Elizabeth (Steven Littell). Helen was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband Joe. Helen is survived by one sister Mary (Richard) Mascorro and two brothers Steve, Albert ( Anne Elizabeth). Three grandchildren Shana her daughter Isabela, Sonja and Johnny (Amy Sena) and two boys. Helen leaves behind numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Helen will always be remembered for her hard work, dedication to her family, her beautiful smile and loving heart. The love that Joe and Helen had for each other will never be matched by anybody else and they instilled that love and compassion into their three children. Helen's rosary and funeral will be March 9th, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. a meal following the services will be provided at the Knights of Columbus in Tucumcari, New Mexico.
