Helen Bolin

Helen Eileen Bolin, 77, died on May 14, 2018 at the Medical Center of Aurora. Recently diagnosed with heart failure, she died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.

Born July 20, 1940 to Harold E. and Dollie M. (Buzard) Hendee in Sharon Springs, Kansas, Helen's greatest joys in life were spending time with family and caring for her beautiful yard and flowers. She loved picnics in the mountains, walking, going to the park with her great grandchildren, playing games and putting together puzzles. She touched the lives of all who knew her with her kindness and quick wit.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Michelle K. Delgado and son-in-law, Victor of Aurora, CO; son, Rodney R. Bolin and daughter-in-law, Tammy Bolin of Brighton, CO; nephew Dan Brumitt and wife Karen Brumitt of Aurora, CO ; grandchildren, Rickie Lee Bolin of San Francisco; Savannah K. Delgado (Mark Sobolik) of Aurora; Dustin V. Delgado (Samantha) of Goodland, KS ; Zackary R. Delgado (Harmony) of Goodland, KS; Noah Bolin of Brighton, CO; Jessica Rudder of Amarillo, TX; Sarah Regan (Sean) of Aurora, CO; Jeff Arbuckle (Missy) of Federal Heights, CO; a sister, Thelma Kidd of Fort Collins and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald R. Bolin; her son, Rickie L. Bolin; and her sister, Hazel Armagost.

A celebration of life will be held at Hudson Gardens on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 10:00 am. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
