Heidi Robertson

Heidi Robertson passed away at age 72 in the early morning of Sunday, December 25, 2016, in Westminster, CO. She is survived by her two children Ravyn Wayne and Tammy Nesvold, son-in-law Jason Nesvold, and her two grandchildren Jackelyn Alessi and Connor Nesvold. She leaves behind her fur baby, Miss Muffett.

Heidi was born and raised in Germany and came to the US in 1970. A strong, independent woman, she was a self-taught software support engineer who loved the outdoors. After moving from California to Colorado in 1999, she frequented the Rocky Mountain National Park and especially loved hiking in Georgetown and Estes Park. Her favorite pastime was walking her dogs around the lake by her house.

Heidi was creative, funny, caring, sometimes maddening, but always a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Heidi was a survivor. She was very brave and strong through three cancer diagnoses. The third and final bout lasted two years. She fought hard to the end and never gave up hope. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Friends and family are gathering to remember Heidi on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 1pm. The memorial service will be held at Atonement Lutheran Church at 685 Inca Parkway, Boulder, CO 80303. There will be a reception following the service at the same location. All are welcome.

In lieu of flowers and in keeping with Heidi's final wishes, the family is requesting a donation of cash or a new or gently used coat that will go to the Denver Rescue Mission."
