Harry Neal Whitefield age 58 of Nashville passed away December 28, 2018.
Born in Smith County, he was preceded in death by parents, Henry Williams Whitefield and Joyce Marie Boswell Whitefield, and by sister-in-law, Kimberly Morris Whitefield.
After graduating Lebanon High School in 1978, he worked at Ideal Cleaners and Pilot Oil Convenience Store in Lebanon. He was most proud of his career as a security guard with Murray Guard, a police officer with the Vanderbilt Police Department, and a military police officer for the 118th Wing of the Tennessee Air National Guard at Berry Field Air National Guard Base, Nashville, Tennessee.
In his spare time he loved the fellowship and participating in events with the Tennessee Volunteer Infantry CSA Reenactors.He is survived by his siblings, Glenn (Annette) Whitefield of Lebanon, Deborah (Debbie) Whitefield Spickard of Springfield, Tn, Donald H. Whitefield (Lang Shen) of St. Charles, Mo, and Carl D Whitefield of Portland, and many cousins, nephews, and a niece.An Interment of his ashes will be 11:00 a.m. May 11, 2018 at Phillips Cemetery, Cookeville, Tn.
