Gloria Johnson

January 20, 1951 — December 13, 2016

Gloria Joy Johnson, was in the company of her husband, Steven, and her daughter Stefanie, at the Denver Hospice Center, at the time of her passing. She had exceptional care and comfort by the Staff who were so supportive and loving. Our day was spent listening to her favorite Praise and Worship songs along with holding her hands, caressing and kissing her, just loving on her until the Lord decided it was time to take her to her real HOME at 1:25am on December 13th, 2016. She was 65 years old, born in Bridgeton, New Jersey January 20th, 1951. Gloria is walking Hand in Hand with our Heavenly Father with no more liver cancer, scoliosis, chronic asthma and many other serious complications. She was a survivor of breast cancer. She had her hidden ailments but rarely complained. She pushed and thrived to survive so that she could enjoy each moment of life. She is an inspiration to many. Gloria was married to Steven for 38 years as of May 13th,1978 at First Family Church in Whittier, CA by Pastor Ronald L. Prinzing. Gloria has 1 brother, James Noss Jr and wife Marsha. Gloria has 3 children, Richard and wife Jamie, Benjamin and wife Adriana, and Stefanie. 4 grandchildren, Angelo, Kiersten, Benjamin and Bradynn. She cherished and loved her brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws. She loved deeply and passionately.

We rejoice knowing that Gloria is with her parents who have passed not too long ago as well as others who have gone before her. Though, we are at peace with her passing, there is still a deep grief and pain not having her physical presence. She was full of intelligence, humor, grace and beauty. Always teaching to us to love unconditionally no matter the conflict and to look at what the other person is going through. She truly was Christ-like. Gloria has left a strong and inspirational legacy. We know that she has impacted many lives with precious memories filled with laughter and even tears. She sang in the choir and led Praise and Worship. Her and Steven traveled throughout California to minister to others in sermon and song. Gloria was a part of the Women's Ministry with Lighthouse Christian Center. She was the secretary for Pastor Norman Cluck for 10 years. Her nickname was "Songbird" which was so fitting for her. She sang numerous solos one of which her 2 favorites were by Sandi Patty "We shall behold Him" and "Majesty." We loved hearing her worship the Lord in songs. There are many words that can be spoken about you but so hard to put them all into expression. I know there are many others who have wonderful memories and I hope you will share them with us all. There will be no services. Cards, letters, personal items for Steven, or gifts of any kind can be sent to: Steven Johnson 6794 S Moore St, Littleton, CO 80127. With all my (our) love from the very depths of our hearts, which we find comfort through Jesus Christ - wishing you all blessings and good health. Hugs and Kisses - Steven and Stefanie.

**To my beloved wife, friend, companion and mother of my 3 children. You were the glue that held this family together. I was the train wreck when I came home and undid everything you did. You were loved by everyone that knew you. Your character stood out - your children relied on you for strength, direction, guidance and comfort in the time of their hurts and needs. We had our struggles and joyous times but God always saw us through it all. You are a blessing. I am going to miss you sorely. God took you in His timing. If it wasn't for the Lord I couldn't make it. But, I thank you for your life and your inspiration. I will always love you until we are united once again.**

**Mom, you will always be my best friend for eternity. You are and were the greatest role model on what a true woman of God should be. I always wanted to be like you. I will always do my best to carry your legacy. Thank you for always supporting me and giving me Pearls of Wisdom. Your love carried me through some deep dark times. We kept each other accountable. Oh, Mom, I pray that I can survive without you! Only thing to carry me through this grief is listening to our favorite songs and holding tight to scripture. I can hear the Lord saying to you, "Well done my good and faithful servant. Well, done....." Love, your daughter, forever and always**
