Geraldine Smith

Geraldine K. Smith (Geri) died Monday, May 19, 2014 at Porter Hospice in Centennial, Colorado due to complications associated with multiple chronic health issues. She was 81 years old.
Geraldine was born in Great Bend, Kansas and resided in San Jacinto before moving to Littleton, Colorado. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Franklin L. Smith, born in Chichester, NY, her parents Norris and Gladys Campbell of Great Bend Kansas, and two sisters, Melba Adams of Great Bend, Kansas and Fay Dixon of Hemet, California. Geri was a homemaker, excellent cook, avid reader, had a great love for "kitty" cats, and was a member of the League of Women Voters while she resided in Hyde Park, New York.
Geri is survived by her daughter Connie Swain and her husband Ken of Poughkeepsie, NY, her son Mike Smith and his wife Cindy of Littleton, CO, her daughter Kelsey Marchewka of Saratoga Springs, NY, eight grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and one sister, Joanne Broadbrook of Topeka, Kansas.
A celebration of her life will be Friday, June 20th. At 10:30 am the internment of ashes will take place at Ft. Logan National Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 11:30 am at St. James Presbyterian Church, 3601 W. Belleview Ave. Littleton, Colorado 80123. She will be interned with the love of her life, Frank.
The family would like to give special thanks to her care givers at Porter Hospice, during her final days, for their compassionate, loving care. Also thank you to mom's very special neighbors who helped her with life's chores when she was unable, Joan and Barb.
