George Settelmeyer

GEORGE RODNEY SETTELMEYER, 68, passed away March 30, 2014 after a heroic battle with cancer. He was born in Bend, Oregon and lived in Oregon, Washington, and California before moving to Colorado in 1991. He spent most of his adult life as a truck driver, a profession he loved. After retiring from trucking, he became a neighborhood bar owner extraordinaire. He owned G-Duck's in Aurora at the time of his death. He was a great owner and will be sorely missed.

A celebration of George's life will be held at G-Duck's May 17.

George is survived by his wife Diana Strasburg CO, son Jesse Douglas, WY, stepdaughters Missi Doyle Centennial, CO and Erica Thorne Spring Hill, TN, sister Sandra Bremner Oregon City, OR, and 11 grandchildren.
