George Hansen

George “Joe” Hansen of Littleton, CO went home to Jesus on February 28th at age 80.

George was born on March 12, 1942 in Los Angeles, CA. He was proud to have been a volunteer Police Officer in Torrance in his 30’s and enjoyed a career in the automotive industry.

George was predeceased by his parents, Bob and Katherine Hansen,  his brother Robert Hansen, his first love and High School sweetheart, Molly Lynne Moore-Hansen and his last love Brenda Jean Willingham-Hansen.

“Joe” will be remembered fondly for his love of making other people laugh, his amazing beef stroganoff and his unique quarter system where he would debit or credit  imaginary quarters for just about anything.

George is survived by his sister, Katherine, his son’s Mike Hansen and Eric Hansen, his grandchildren Elysia and Jared and his two great-grandchildren. George will also be missed by his step-family: his step-niece Paige Willingham-Lents and her daughter Paislee, his step-son Jerry Hales and his family, his step-daughter Melanie Hales and her four children, Lia, Chloe, Ryan Hanchett and Tycen Ouellette who loved him dearly.
