George Eihausen

George Lee Eihausen age 74, passed away at home Sunday November 26, 2017. He was born in Luverne, Minnesota on May 19, 1943, first born to Marvin and Marvel (Hoops) Eihausen.

Lee grew up on a farm, where he taught himself to fix the family vehicles. Once he graduated from High School, he earned a 4 year Engineering scholarship at the University of Denver. He moved to Denver in 1962 and his family followed shortly after. He was called to serve our country during Vietnam, serving honorably. He worked for Western Electric, Mountain Bell and later US West as an Engineering Associate, until he retired.

Lee married Karen Colby in 1976. They had two children, Michelle & Jesse. Lee also was a proud grandpa to Amanda and Scarlet. With his many self-taught skills, he kept the vehicles running, built misc. items and maintained and improved the home. He is preceded in death by his father Marvin and his wife Karen. He is survived by his children, two granddaughters, his mother Marvel (Prado), brother Gregg and sister Shoni (Hensen), all of Colorado. Also, his sister Sherry (Russell) of BC. Canada.
