Gabrielle Rodriguez

Gabrielle “Gabby” Irene Rodriguez, 27, beloved daughter of Elaine and Santiago Rodriguez, sister to Alicia, Emilee, and Eliana, and loving mother of Isaac, passed away from a sudden illness on Monday, November 11, 2019, surrounded by loving family. Gabby was unfailingly generous and kind. She found great joy in bringing family together, especially over a home-cooked meal. Nothing made her happier than making someone else happy, bringing a smile or laugh with a clever quip or the perfect movie quote. Always thoughtful, Gabby would do anything to help a friend in need.

A lifelong resident of northern New Mexico, Gabrielle was born in Santa Fe on November 15, 1991, and lived in Alcalde and Espanola. She was a graduate of Los Alamos High School and attended Northern New Mexico College.

She is survived by her parents, sisters Alicia (Donnie), Emilee (Dominic), and Eliana. She is also survived by her companion Andrew Martinez, and her ever faithful dog Precious.

A celebration of Gabby’s life will take place at 7:00 pm on Friday, November 15th, at Sagebrush Church in Santa Fe, officiated by Pastor Bern Chavez. Interment will be at Rosario Cemetery at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 16th, with services led by Pastor John Hall. Pallbearers include Justin Maestas, Justin Salazar, Mario Ortiz, Kenneth Martinez, Curtis Martinez, Donnie Martinez, John Naranjo and Dominic Wheeler. Honorary pallbearers are Leonard Manzanares, Marcos Manzanares, Matthew Martinez, Mikayla Martinez, Sariah Wheeler and Daniella Barela. A reception will follow at the Nambe Community Center.

The Family of Gabrielle Irene Rodriguez has entrusted the care of their beloved one to Avista Cremation & Burial Funeral Home.
