Frank Cannon Hatfield Jr., age 78, died peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2014 surrounded by his loving family.
Frank was born July 18, 1936 to Frank Hatfield Sr. and Pearl Hatfield in Denver. Frank served his country through the United States Marine Corp and was honorably discharged in 1961. Frank had a robust career and retired from US West after 32 years as a Manager of Engineering and was respected and admired by all that worked with him.
Frank had many hobbies, to include woodworking, gardening, golf, football, softball, movie aficionado, and cook (Chef Frank).
Frank was a very humorous, genuine, caring, calming, honest and a strong man. He raised four children to be independent, strong, courageous, and to have a sense of humor. He passed on his steadfast loyalty and love of family to all his children.
His father, Frank Hatfield Sr., mother, Pearl Hatfield, and sister, Martha Hurless, preceded Frank. Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years Patti Hatfield, his son Scott Hatfield (spouse Beth Hatfield), daughters Lisa Been, Pam Hatfield and Carisa May (spouse Chris May), and adored grandchildren Alicia Bolsinger, Andrew Hatfield, Joshua Been, Connor May, Alex May, and Madison May along with great grandchildren Draiman, Maya, and Colton Bolsinger.
Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Parish on August 28, 2014 at 1:00pm -18000 E. Arapahoe Rd. Aurora, CO 80016 followed by a celebration of life at Valley View Country Club at 2:00pm - 14601 Country Club Dr. Centennial, CO. 80016.
