On August 12, 2024, Frank Frederick Edmondson, loving husband and father, was called home, at the age of 80. Frank was born on September 18, 1943, to the late Frederick and Ethel (Watkins) Edmondson.
A native of Pennsylvania, Mr. Edmondson spent most of his life in New Jersey, where he worked as a chemical technician for E.I. DuPont Photo/Chemical Products in Sayreville. He retired in December of 1991.
On April 1, 1967, Frank married his best friend, Jeanne Keiser. Together they had a daughter, Laura, of New Jersey, and a son, Scott of Tennessee.
In New Jersey, Mr. Edmondson was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sayreville, where he served many years as a Deacon and on various other committees.
After moving to Murfreesboro, Tennessee in 1992, Mr. Edmondson worked in the school system at McFadden Elementary School and Rockvale School. He was fondly known as Mr. Frank, always wearing a smile for students and faculty. After leaving the school district, Mr. Edmondson began working in his workshop more regularly and enjoyed good movies and television.
Mr. Edmondson later became a member of the Northminster Presbyterian Church in Murfreesboro.
Mr. Edmondson was predeceased by his wife Jeanne, his parents Frederick and Ethel Edmondson, and his sister, Joan Signorelli all from New Jersey. Mr. Edmondson is survived by his daughter Laura (Daniel) Pearson of New Jersey, and son Scott of Tennessee. He has two loving grandchildren Trevor and Jordyn Lott, and three bonus grandchildren, Jonathan, Sara and Lucy Pearson. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive Mr. Edmondson.
Mr. Edmondson has chosen to be cremated. A memorial service will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Diabetes Foundation and the Rutherford County Pet Adoption and Welfare Service (PAWS.)
