Frances Chavez

In fond memory of Frances L. Chavez, a loving sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be remembered dearly by those who knew her as a unique individual with a feisty spirit and good sense of humor. Frances passed away suddenly but was at peace with her Lord and her loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her late husband Samuel Chavez, her brother Manuel Vigil and sister Mary Vigil Conklin. She is survived by her three daughters, Terri, Karen and Cheryl, as well as her grandchildren, Jason, Dustin, Richard, Kristen, Melissa, Amanda and Blake. Also surviving are four great grandchildren: Brian, Camille, Lincoln, Eleanor and Kennedi. She is also survived by her sister Mary Ann and brothers, Marcos (Mark), Edward (Eddie), Gilbert and Jerry.

A private family viewing will be held on Monday February 17, 2020 at 10:00 am. She has chosen to have her ashes placed where her life began, in Vigil Colorado.
