Forrest passed away on Saturday, April 2nd at his home in Thornton, Colorado.
Forrest was born in Gainesville, Texas on May 19, 1958 and spent the better part of his adult life in Westminster Colorado. Forrest graduated from Pomona High School in Arvada CO, worked in construction for the last 25 years, he enjoyed spending time with his daughter Lyndsey Barnett age 10 from Wheat Ridge. Forrest also enjoyed spending time in the mountains of Colorado hunting and fishing, had a passion for cooking and his favorite past time barbeque on the grill with his family. Forrest was very much a man of his word and had a heart of gold. He was the type of person that would drop everything just to come help you with whatever you needed, he will truly be missed.
Forrest is preceded in death by his father Luther Forrest Barnett and survived by mother Peggy Barnett; brothers: Jim Barnett and Todd Barnett; Sister: Dana House; sister in law: Coral Barnett; nephew: Jordan, Jake and Bobby; nieces: Brandy, Sonja and Julia.
A potluck gathering of family and friends will take place on Friday April 15th starting at 3pm at 10550 W. 101st Ave Westminster, CO 80021.
