E. Sina Howe

Elizabeth Sina Howe, age 86 of Malvern, OH died peacefully Tuesday evening April 5th at All Saints Home Care in Colorado following her extended bout with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Born in Canton, OH to the late George and Marjorie Swant, she had resided here most of her life, eventually settling at Lake Mohawk to raise her family. Mrs. Howe was a retired teacher and educator from various organizations – Brown Local and Canton School Districts, the CYC, and the C. T. Branin Natatorium. She was a devoted wife and mother and member of Christ Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Howe. Survivors include her two sons, Eric D. (Kim) Howe of Heber City, UT and Duane C. (Cindy) Howe of Aurora, CO; three granddaughters: Jordan, Morgan and Isabelle.

A memorial service is being planned for July and will be held at Christ Presbyterian Church 530 Tuscarawas St., W. The family will receive friends following the service in church. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery Malvern, OH. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Christ Presbyterian Church 530 Tuscarawas St., W. Canton, OH 44702.
