Eric Michael Levy

Eric M. Levy, 63, of Evergreen, CO, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2023 surrounded by family, after a multi-year battle with cancer.

Eric was born on May 9^th, 1960 to Claude and Hyman Levy in New York, NY.  After spending his teenage years in the San Francisco Bay Area, Eric attended the University of Denver and subsequently earned his MBA from the University of Notre Dame.  He spent over 30 years working in corporate finance at Caterpillar, Coors Brewing Company, and most recently at Alterra Mountain Company as Treasurer.  Eric had a long and successful career and was deeply respected by his colleagues.

Eric was a passionate skier, motorcyclist, and jazz drummer, among his other hobbies.  He collected motorcycles, and notably organized a 1000 mile endurance motorcycle event – the “Baby Butt” - in the Western US for several years.  In the years before his passing, Eric traveled extensively throughout the North American and European continents.

Eric was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Hyman. He is survived by his partner Celia Germond and his two brothers, James and Philip.   Eric requested that the bagpipe tradition be skipped with his passing, though a donation in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
