Emilia E Martinez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Emilia, better known as Emily on December 21, 2023, surrounded by her family. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Jesus and Josefita Sandoval, first born son, Patrick Sisneros of Selma, CA., brother Alfred Sandoval and wife Bertha, brother in laws, Frank Marlow, and Jim Henry. Special Friend; Esther Quintana.
She is survived by her children; Joseph Sisneros, John Sandoval, Gloria (Lawrence) Lovato, Rick (Charlotte) Martinez, Daughter in Law Irene Sisneros. Sisters; Mary Marlow, Ramona Henry, Margaret (Joe) Montoya. Brother; Tim (Sofia) Sandoval
Grandchildren; Angelo (Nanette) Sisneros, Aimee (Joseph) Garcia, Fabian and Viviana Sisneros of Selma, CA., Lawrence (Julie) Lovato, Melanie (Chris) Montoya, Joseph (Leann) Lovato, Steven (Danielle) Lovato, Racquel Martinez, Carlos Martinez.
Twenty-five great grandchildren, one great great-grandchild and a second arriving in June of 2024. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Special friend: Deluvina Roybal who she enjoyed spending time on the phone with and crafting.
Emilia enjoyed cross stitching, crocheting, knitting, baking biscochitos and canning chokecherry jelly. In her better days she enjoyed visiting and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoyed visits to the casino. The talented artwork and famous quilts she left us all will be cherished forever.

A Rosary and Mass will take place on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Rivera Kiva Chapel. A reception will follow.

A burial will take place on January 16, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., at Rosario Cemetery.

The family of Emilia E. Martinez  has entrusted the care of their beloved one to CremateSimply-Santa Fe.
