Edward Rodricks

Ed was born in Monte Vista, Colorado in 1931 to Leo and Lucille Rodriquez. The family moved to north Denver when he was a child. He joined the army at age 15 and served a 2 year enlistment. He joined the navy at eighteen and retired from the navy in the early seventies. He was a veteran of both the Korean and Vietnam wars and he received a purple heart for injuries suffered in Korea. He lived in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania until he retired from the navy, then moved back to Denver and married his wife, Bette in 1972. He lived in Applewood and worked for Timpte industries until retiring in the early ninties. He was an avid fisherman, die-hard broncos fan and gourmet cook. He had a stroke in 2012 and passed away 10/17/14. He is survived by his wife Bette, son Rodney, step-children Patrick and Kathy, grandchildren Courtney, Matthew, Michael, Steven and Carolyn, great grandchildren Dylan, Hannah, Alexandra, Jacob and Ian.
