Dorsey Long

Dorsey Diane Long, 66, passed away unexpectedly on February 17, 2014.

Dorsey is survived by her daughters, Kelly and Kerry Long, grandsons, Jordan and Dominic Long and nephew, Phillip Podvorec, as well as many very close friends. Dorsey was preceded in death by her mother and father, Albert and Margaret Podvorec, brother, Ronald Podvorec, baby sister, Denise Podvorec and infant granddaughter, Jadynn Long

Dorsey was born to parents, Albert and Margaret Podvorec in Cleveland, Ohio on March 15, 1947. Dorsey was a High School cheerleader at North Royalton High School, where she graduated from in 1966. Dorsey continued on in life to become an amazing mother, and later grandmother. She was a dedicated employee at United Airlines, where she worked in the Reservation department for 37 years. This is what brought her and her family from Cleveland to Denver in 1991.

Dorsey was an energetic, fun-loving, caring woman, who lived her life to the fullest and loved to make others laugh with her great sense of humor. She would do anything for anyone, which is why so many considered her a second mother.

She is now an angel in Heaven, just as she was on Earth. You truly earned your wings, mom! You will always be loved and missed, and will live on in our memories!
