Dorothy Bruce

Dorothy N Bruce, 92, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2020 after several years of battling an undiagnosed progressive neurological disorder.

Dorothy was born in Denver, Colorado on November 23, 1927. She graduated from North High School in 1946. She married Edwin P. Bruce on May 27, 1950. They had three children - son Scott in 1951, son Perrie in 1953 and daughter Debbie in 1956. Edwin passed away in 1981.

Dorothy worked several years in retail sales and Avon sales. She owned her own business for a time and was the 1990 Woman of the Year for the High Country Chapter of the American Business Women's Association. She loved life, time with family and time and travel with friends. She was a great grandmother, mother, daughter and friend.

Dorothy is survived by her sister-in-law, Lucille Nelson; sons, Scott and Perrie; daughter Debbie and her husband Ron Larson; granddaughters, Jennifer Tolibas and Jaclyn Schurk; grandsons Jordan Bruce and Isaac Larson; and great grandchildren Declan, Colbie, Jade and William.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy or the Alzheimer's Association.
