Doris Mccolloum

Doris A. McColloum, 89, of Centennial, CO passed away May 26th, 2013. She was born in Laverne, OK to Maude and Jewell LaMunyon and raised on a farm in Sheridan, MO. Doris is preceded in death by her first husband Keith VanHoutan, and her second husband Lyle McColloum. Survived by her son Ronnie VanHoutan and daughter Rhonda VanHoutan Abitbol, three grandchildren Keith, Cary, and Alexis, and also by her seven great grandchildren. Doris was a proud hair stylist who owned several successful beauty salons. She continued to dress hair long after she retired. Doris looked forward to her weekly Tuesday bridge group and cherished the camaraderie and competitiveness of their bridge game. Doris loved many, and was loved by many. She's touched a lot of lives and will be missed by a lot of people. Doris was a good mother, great wife, amazing grandmother, and dear friend. Services will be held at Grace Presbyterian Church NE Corner of Highlands Ranch Parkway & Santa Fe Dr., 9720 US Hwy 85 N. in Highlands Ranch, CO. 80125 at 1:30pm on Sunday June 9, 2013. Wake/party celebration of life at Mark and Sue Schwartz, 6794 S. Webster St. Littleton, Co, 80128 after the services from 2:30pm to 4:30pm.
