Donnalu Loman

Donnalu Loman, 92, left us suddenly in the late afternoon on Friday, May 31st, 2024 in Golden Colorado.

Donnalu was born as Melba (Melva) Sentor at the end of October, 1931 in Jackson County Missouri to Melvin and Faye Sentor. Melva became Donnalu Dopp when she was adopted by Rubye (Hodge) and Vestor Dopp at eight months old.

Donna spent most of her adult life looking for her birth family. She would later discover that she had four siblings looking for her. In 2006 she would be reunited with her brother Gene and sister Ethyl. Sadly she would never meet her brother Jim and sister Mary.

Surviving are her husband, Ron Loman, of Golden Colorado and her two grandchildren; Michelle Berett Ward, of Villard Minnesota and Christopher Berett, of New Berlin, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Chérie Berett.

Donna enjoyed spending time with her friends, most mornings, while having coffee on the porch. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren playing games.

A private ceremony will be held in Villard Minnesota at a date and time not yet determined.
