Donald Eugene Craft of Broomfield, Colorado (formerly Morris and Decatur Illinois) traveled on to his final port of call on the morning of November 11, 2022 at 92 years of age. He passed on peacefully, surrounded by his Family and a handful cookies in his pocket, just as he had wished. Donald was born 10/11/1930. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Shirley Lee (Keller) Craft of Broomfield, Co. as well as his two Son's; Jeff(Kelly) Craft of Thornton, Colorado, Rick(Carol) Craft of Thornton, Colorado, and only Daughter Cathy(Terry) Carron of O'Fallon Missouri, 8 Grandchildren and 12 great Grandchildren, all of whom he lovingly adored. Don was preceded in death by his two Sisters and 1 Grandson.
Don was a proud Air Force and Korean War Veteran and worked as a Bank President until retirement. He had an admirable zest for travel and pridefully stamped his passport around the World with Shirley by his side. He loved to Golf and was a local celebrity at his home course where he was not only known as the friendliest marshal but received the luckiest of all Golf accolades, a hole in one! He had an affinity for Western movies and novels, watching baseball re-runs, stylish attire, growing tomatoes, tending his precious roses, Shirley's homemade pies and cookies(all of them!) The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to him. Spending time with his Family was always of the utmost importance. Don's pleasant personality brought joy to all he encountered, had the kindest smile and a twinkle in his eyes that will be dearly missed by all.
Donald Eugene Craft will be laid to rest in a small Family service.
