Donald Anderson

Don Anderson passed away peacefully in his home, Thursday, March 31st, 2016, surrounded by his wife, brothers, and nephew. Don was 64 years old and had lived in Colorado since 1986.

Don was born on October 4th, 1951, in San Luis Obispo, CA to loving parents, John Hickenbottom and Lulu Petersen, both preceding him in death. Surviving are his wife, Linda Miller Anderson of Littleton; daughters Dana Anderson Whittaker (son-in-law Chris) of San Marcos, CA, Darla Anderson Quick (son-in-law Dahmon) of Temecula, CA, Bethany Anderson of Temecula, CA; step-son Matthew Miller of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Devyn Quick, Drea Quick, Carter Whittaker, Waverly Whittaker and Brayden Anderson; brothers Ron Hickenbottom of Berkley, CA and John Anderson of Honolulu, HI, as well as numerous nephews and one niece.

A service is pending at the place of his birth, San Luis Obispo, CA, with his ashes being scattered with his beloved dogs -- boxers Jack and Molly, his constant companions in life.

Don traveled each and every highway and lived his life to the fullest, his way!
