Don Taylor

Don Robert Taylor ("Donnie") was born on April 22, 1956 in Fort Morgan, Colorado, to Epsie Berry Brandt and John Robert Taylor. He grew up in Denver, and attended West High School. Donnie loved rock and roll, concerts and live music, bowling, and watching his favorite TV programs. He was head mechanic at Bowl-ero Lanes, and worked as a cook at numerous restaurants throughout Denver. Don was preceded in death by his father and mother, and is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Brewer (Gary), his brother George Akeman (Eve), and seven nieces and nephews. Donnie passed into the forgiving arms of Jesus on February 18, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 13 at The Sacred Grace Church, 3220 South Acoma Street. He will be laid to rest at Ft. Logan National Cemetery at 11:00 AM . In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Denver Rescue Mission.

Funeral guests are asked to bring non-perishable food items, wool socks, or sleeping bags to share with our local homeless community.
