Dolores Ebner

Dolores passed away on Feb.8, 2023. She was 94 years old. Dolores is survived by her 5 children, Glory (Ebner) Platt (Murray Platt) Julie Ebner, David Ebner (wife Donna), Debbie Ebner, and Sherry Ebner. 2 grandchildren and daughter-in-laws, Grant Platt (Sandy), and Trevor Platt (Megan).  In addition, she had 2 great grandchildren, Bailey and Brooks Platt (Grant and Sandy Platt).

Dolores was born and raised in Chicago, IL, married Donald E. Ebner in 1949 (deceased 2009). They use to date at the original Pizzeria Uno in downtown Chicago. They moved to Denver in 1964 and remained ever since.

Later in life, Dolores and Donald were very instrumental in the restoration/historic designation of the Bradford Perley House at Ken-Caryl Ranch. There is a bench with their names engraved on it near the house. Dolores authored the book entitled "The Bradford Years 1859-1876.

Other accomplishments include: past Chairman of the Jefferson County United Way Board, Jefferson County Historical Society volunteer, and the prestigious Daughters of the American Revolution Historic Preservation Medal. They were both inducted into the Jefferson County Hall of Fame. She liked to write poetry, and has had some of it published. She will be missed by her loving family.
