Dixie Ann Green

On Tuesday, February 13^th, 2024, Dixie Ann Green, loving Mother, Grandmother, and friend to many, passed away at age 79.   

Dixie was born on September 5, 1944, in Alta, Iowa to Omer and Mildred Enderson.

On September 2, 1968, she married Gene Green, and they raised their daughter Kim until Gene’s passing in 2018.

Dixie adored her family and loved watching her grandson Matthew bowl at his bowling tournaments. She worked at Cracker Barrel where she had many loving friends and loved to talk with her regular customers.  She always had so many stories to tell.  She enjoyed going to dinner and movies with her family and friends.  Dixie was known for her quick wit, infectious smile, and her kind and compassionate spirit.

Dixie was preceded in death by her husband Gene, father Omer, mother Mildred, and sisters Diane and Donna.  She is survived by her daughter Kim, son-in-law Chris, and grandson Mathew, as well as her sisters Delores and Debbie, along with many nieces and nephews.
