Diane Lutz

Diane K Lutz, age 78, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away at Sky Ridge Hospital on September 12, 2022. She was born Sept 6, 1944, to Frank and Laurabelle (Cole) Niemier in Ft Dodge, Iowa.

In 1962, Diane graduated from Ft Dodge Senior High School. As an adult she received her Bachelor’s degree in Business at Denver University. She would later attend Phoenix University to work on completing her Masters. Diane spent most of her working life in the AT&T Bell System companies following the Large Business Equipment Divisions as they moved to Lucent and then Avaya where she retired.

Diane married Jim Lutz on February 17, 1978 in Denver, Colorado. Diane had two children from her first marriage to Melvin Ramsden - Kurt Ramsden and Kristi (Ramsden) Hamilton and a Step Daughter Michelle (Lutz) Ferrell from her marriage to Jim. In addition to spending time with her family, Diane enjoyed making beads for her jewelry, traveling, cooking and talking to her multitude of friends.

Diane is survived by her husband Jim of Littleton, Colorado, her children Kurt Ramsden of Littleton, Colorado, Kristi (Ramsden) Hamilton of Muskego, Wisconsin, and Michelle (Lutz) Ferrell of Elisabeth Town, Kentucky as well as her grandchildren, Logan Ferrell, Melissa Ferrell, Samantha Ferrell, Alex Hamilton, Emily Hamilton and Kathy Ramsden, and her great granddaughter Kaia Ferrell, plus nieces and nephews and numerous cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Laurabelle (Cole) Niemier, her siblings Norman Ogburn, George Niemier, Darlene Preston and Dale Niemier Family and friends will gather at the North Lawn Cemetery Chapel before the Gravesite Services on Nov 5, 2022 at 11AM.

Family prefers that those who wish can send a memorial donation in Diane’s name to their favorite cancer research facility in lieu of flowers.
