Derrick Brown

Derrick "Keith" Brown died in a motorcycle accident on March 18, 2017 in Denver, Colorado while on his way to work.

Keith was born on July 23, 1973 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He moved to Denver when he was 13 years old, and always considered the city home. He was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He made his wife laugh daily, and his eyes lit-up anytime one of his children was in the room. He and his brother were not only siblings, but best friends. He loved his mother dearly and still answered to her pet name for him - Boogaloo. Keith was dedicated to his immediate and extended family, and a friend like no other. Keith was a motorcycle technician and loved his work. He lived with passion for his family, friends and his work.

He is survived by his wife, Emily Hayduk; his children, Nassir Fanganello-Brown (18), Dominica Brown (16) and Lexie Hayduk-Brown (6 months); his mother, Geraldine Howard Montgomery (Johnny); his father, Londell Brown; his brother Brian Christopher Brown (Amber); three nieces, Ivee Smith (Tyler), Jade Brown and Kheana Brown and two nephews, Brian Brown Jr. and Kheshaun Brown; and numerous extended family members and close friends.

He is preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents and his beloved boyhood dog, Nicolas.
