Dennis Lyle Chamberlain (73) passed away in the early morning of 16 March 2020. His wife, Mary Jane (Cassady) Chamberlain, and his daughter, Mandy Chamberlain, were at his bedside. Dennis and Mary Jane were married for 45 years.
Dennis was an avid runner, loved being outdoors, and always had a book in hand. If not reading, he was listening to music. He graduated from the Westminster Choir College and was a member of the Seventh Army Chorus for 2 years while stationed in Europe. He loved to travel and visited many countries with his family while being stationed overseas.
Dennis served 20 years in the U. S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1992. He then moved to Colorado with his family and then worked for the U. S. Post Office for 20 years.
Dennis was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2007. He was always very appreciative to his doctors and nurses for their care and to the hospice organization who cared for him in his final weeks. He fought the good fight, never waning in his desire to take care of his family. He was a good, kind man and will be forever missed.
Dennis is survived by his brother, Larry Chamberlain, and his wife, Alice, and is survived by his sister, Janet Chamberlain. His sister, Carol Allard, passed away in June of 2019. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
