Demetrio Salas

Demetrio Antonio Salas passed away on Friday, December 25. He was only 35 years old.

Demetrio was born to Isidoro (Lolo) and Lisa (Sena) Salas on October 14, 1985. He was the second of three sons and grew up in Clovis, New Mexico.

Demetrio was very loving, considerate and caring. He was a great listener and would give advice as his way of trying to help out. Demetrio loved to fish and hunt. But his greatest love was working on cars. Demetrio loved to joke around. He was always making people laugh. And his good-hearted nature kept him smiling.

Demetrio treasured his family and friends and he will be greatly missed by all that loved him.

Demetrio is survived by his loving parents, Lolo and Lisa Salas, Albuquerque NM; by his older brother Edward Salas, Clayton NM; by his younger brother, Orlando Salas, Albuquerque NM; by his Grandmother Felicita Rose Salas Garcia, Clovis NM; by his Grandfather Charlie Sena, Fort Worth TX. Demetrio is also survived by his Aunts and Uncles: Toni Ann Salas Romero & Gabriel Romero, Rudy Ann Salas Diaz & Gabriel Diaz, Velma Quintana, George Sena, Nancy & Greg Ramos, Paul & Ruby Sena, Grace  & Rusty Finkey, Sal & Danielle Sena, Alan & Jennifer Sena, Roger Flecher. And his cousin Victor Robledo. And many more primos that love and cherish him.

Demetrio is preceded in death by his uncle Wilfred Salas, his grandfather Demetrio Salas, his grandfather Isidro Garcia, his grandmother Mary Sena, his aunt Anna Sena, his aunt Linda Fletcher, his aunt Stella Gonzalez, his uncle Harold Sena, his cousin little Wilfred Salas, his cousin Xzavier Salcido.

Demetrio also leaves behind some that were as close as brothers and a sister, to name Issac Arranda, Geneva Robles Sanchez, Phillip Robles, Robert Sena, Louie Maez and so many more, too many to name.

Demetrio - We Jove you and we miss you so much already. You were a great Son, Brother, Cousin & Friend. Demetria - you will forever leave an empty space where your kindness touched all of our lives.

The family is not holding funeral services at this time. The family will schedule services when COVID restrictions are lessened.
