Debra Kay Spears

Debra Spears, beloved mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on 2/11/2024 at the age of 61 in Hermitage TN. She was surrounded by her loving family. Debra was born on 08/10/1962 in Dickson Tn to William &  Genevievie Spencer. She grew up in Dickson Tn, where she developed her passion for Massage Therapy.

Debra was a devoted mother, dedicating her life to nurturing and supporting her Son, Raymond Spears Jr. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love created a home filled with laughter and cherished memories. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her family, touching the lives of all who knew her.

 In addition to her role as a mother, Debra was a Licensed Massage Therapist at Vanderbilt In Nashville TN. Her dedication and hard work earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues.

 Outside of her professional life, Debra enjoyed gardening and spending time with family, and finding joy in reading her bible. She was known for her infectious laughter, her compassionate heart, and her ability to brighten any room with her presence.

Debra is survived by her son, Raymond Spears Jr (Ilisa Spears), her Mother Genevievie Spencer, her Sisters Kimberly Bennett, & Renae Hawkins, her granddogs, Coco, Linux, Roscoe and her extended family and friends. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

 A memorial service to celebrate Debra's life will be held on February 24th 2024, 2pm at 404 Sunset court, Hermitage TN. 

 Debra's legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will continue to inspire all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
