David Taylor

David Stephen Taylor, age 82, died at Someren Glen Senior Living Community on Friday, June 3, 2022.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, and moved to California as a child, where he grew up and went to college.  He worked as an Economist for the Federal Government  in California, Arizona and Colorado until retiring.  Dave was an avid reader and lover of nature and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, step children Mike (Sue) Nelson, Meredith (Karen) Nelson, Tim (Mary) Nelson, Doriann (Ernie) Calvillo; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his niece’s children Alyssa Schrenk and Michael Lotito as well as sister-in-law Janice Taylor.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Ethel, two brothers Peter and Albert and his niece Sylvia.

A Celebration of his life is planned for a future date.
