David ‘Anthony' Sisneros left his earthly body to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 26, 2019. He died peacefully, surrounded by his family at 3:10 p.m.
Dave graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 1971 with a B.S. in Biological Sciences (Botany). After 36 years of Federal service, he retired as a research botanist with the Bureau of Reclamation where he worked to reclaim weed-infested waterways and reservoirs. He loved to fish and could be found with a line in the water all year round. He also loved to hunt, camp and shoot his guns and bows. He spent many hours with his good friend, Johnny, searching for elk and deer in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. He loved spending time fishing with his daughters, hunting with his son, watching movies, cooking, and being silly with his granddaughters.
Dave leaves behind his wife, Kate, to whom he was faithfully married for 44 years. He was father to four children: Erin Sisneros (42), Jeremy Sisneros (40, Kendra James (38) and Allegra Sisneros Roluti (36) and four grandchildren: Harper (7), Willow (5), Samara (2) and Gabriel (4 months). David is survived by his mother Elma, brothers Terry and Donnie, and sisters Darlene and Marilyn. He was preceded in death by his father, David and his brother, Randy. He made an impact on everyone in his life. He was loved by all and will be remembered as a wonderful father, brother, son, and friend. A memorial service is scheduled to remember David's life on April 27th at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Bible Chapel 6250 Wright St., in Arvada, Colorado.
