David Ryan

David J Ryan, age 47 of Aurora, Colorado passed away on December 12, 2011 after a short illness.
David was born in Santa Rosa, CA, and graduated from William Horlick High School in Racine, WI, in 1982.
David settled in Colorado in 1989 working in the environmental health and safety industry, In 1991 David opened his own business, providing environmental construction career training, and jobs for those less fortunate.
David was a loveable, outgoing person who will be remembered by many as the man who knew someone wherever he went. David also loved to cook and entertain, always the jokester. He had an exuberant energy and vibrancy for life, always ready for the next adventure.
David had a heart as big as the great outdoors he loved so much. David was an avid hunter, fisherman, and greatly enjoyed riding his horse "Buster" in the mountains.
David is survived by his wife Vicki Sommer Ryan, of Aurora, CO

Sisters-in-laws Janet Mike Sanchez, of Racine, Kathy Pete Malanche, of Mukwonago, WI, Lenni Eddie Jacobs of Grey's Lake, IL, and brother-in-law John Sommer of Racine.
Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
The family would like to express deep gratitude to the family and friends who have supported us throughout this difficult time, as well as the Denver Hospice at Lowry for their care and compassion.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 14th 2012 at 10:00 AM, at St Michael the Archangel Church, 19099 East Floyd Avenue, Aurora, Co 80013. A celebration of David's life will be held following the mass at the Wheatlands Clubhouse, located at 6601 Wheatlands Pkwy, Aurora, CO 80016.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family or a favorite charity have been suggested.
