David Romero

David Joseph Romero was born on July 8, 1957 to Paula and Joseph Romero in Denver, Colorado and passed away on July 15, 2017.

David was passionate about helping kids. After attending Lincoln High School and then earning his teaching degree at the University of Northern Colorado, David happily taught and inspired hundreds of young children over a teaching career that spanned over thirty years with the Cherry Creek School District. He loved sports and brought joy to even more children through coaching youth sports.

David is survived by his mother, Paula L. Romero and his son, Seve David Romero, as well as his brothers and sisters, Dennis (Delane), Julie (Richard Espinosa), Matt (Lori), John, Valerie (Billy O'Brien) and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

David is proceeded in death by his father, Joseph Ignacio Romero.

A service for David will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 11:00 am at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 2190 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO 80227.

A reception will follow at 1:00 pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1151 South Galena St. Denver, CO 80247.
