David O’Malley

David William O'Malley, age 57, passed Thursday July 12th at his home in Denver, CO. Celebration of Life event will be held August 4th at his home 1840 Newport Street Denver, CO 80220 between 11AM and 3PM and in his home state of Michigan on August 11th.

David worked as a trained pastry chef for 20 years with The Metropolitan Club in Dallas and then moved to Denver staying with the Club until it closed. David then trained with United Airlines and moved from Gate Agent position up in ranking into The Red Carpet Club for the past 15 years. David was preceded in Death by his husband of 27 years Edward Martin. He is survived by Domestic Partner Darren Venteicher, his Mother Ellen O'Malley, Brother Michael (Julie) O'Malley, Sister Kathy (Ed) Bowman, Sister Patty Luce. David is also survived by his 8 nieces and nephews. David enjoyed gardening, cooking, flower arranging, watching old movies and finding memorable songs of his childhood on the internet. He often vacationed at his northern Michigan family property and in Florida to bath in the sun and loved being in and on a lake or ocean.
