David Thomas Hammons, age 44. Passed away May 6, 2017. David was preceded in death
by his father Stephen Virgil Hammons, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife Harriett Fay Hammons. He also leaves behind his children; Stephen Thomas Hammons and Julia Grace Hammons, and his grandchildren; Cameron, Nevaeh, Aiden, Eleanor, and Madeline Gambill,
step-children; Eric James Gambill (Jodie) and Amanda Fay Gambill.
Survivors also include his mother Martha Lou Hammons, a brother Stephen Virgil Hammons, Jr., sisters; Angela Denise Gates (Terry) and Donna Lee Hajizadeh, and numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many loving friends. Every one who knew and loved him
knows that his great love for Alabama Football was only eclipsed by his love for family and
friends. He will be greatly missed by all. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:00 PM Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Otter Creek Church, 409 Franklin Rd., Brentwood, TN 37027.
