Darin Jaramillo

Darin M. Jaramillo, age 51 a resident of Alcalde born on August 19, 1966 passed away peacefully of a lengthy illness surrounded by his loving family on August 24, 2017.  He was preceded in death by his mother Norah Jaramillo; brother Donny Jaramillo; mother in law Viola Martinez.  Darin was full of life he loved to joke, fish and he collected baseball caps.  He was a huge Cowboys fan and he loved doing construction projects.  Throughout his lengthy illness he never complained he was a diehard fighter till the very end.  Darin showed others no matter how he was feeling he never complained and made the best of his day.  He was very much in love with his new granddaughter Neveah.  He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife Bernadette Jaramillo; daughter Kendall Jaramillo and companion Robert Johnson; granddaughter Nevaeh Violet Johnson; raised like a daughter Esperanza Martinez; father Eli Jaramillo; brothers Monty Jaramillo and Johnathon Jaramillo; father in law Ray C. Martinez; brothers in law Eppie and John John Martinez; considered like a sister Nicole Garcia and Pauline Valdez; nephews Dylon Martinez, Luke Martinez, Eppie Martinez Jr., Monty Jaramillo Jr., Avery Jaramillo, Donny Jaramillo Jr.; nieces Ashely Cook and husband Kyle, Makrinna Garica;God daughter Elizabeth Renee Nillo; best friends J.R. Roybal aka Gramps and Norman Valdez;  Public visitation will begin on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at El Buen Pastor Church in Espanola, with a devotional service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. also at El Buen Pastor Church, with a burial to follow at Temple Bautista Cemetery in Chimayo.  Serving the family as pallbearers will be Mavi Tafoya, J.R. Roybal, Robert Johnson, Eppie Martinez Jr., Monty Jaramillo & John John Martinez and Dylon Martinez; honorary pallbearer will be Norman Valdez, Jonathon Jaramillo, Eppie Martinez, Ray C. Martinez, Daniel Eligio Garcia, Robert Morales, Urban Martinez, Richardo & Diego Martinez, Kyla Cook, Donny Jr., Monty Jr. and  Avery Jaramillo.
